Salt Lake City, the City of South Salt Lake, Millcreek and the City of Holladay teamed up to complete the Local Link transit study to learn how you travel in and around your community and develop innovative, multimodal options for more convenient, connected trips.
 
The cities first conducted a circulation study, which wrapped up in October 2020, that analyzed biking and walking connections to and from the Sugar House Business District. This study was completed in October 2020.
 
The cities then conducted a transit study that analyzed transportation options between Sugar House and Millcreek with an extension into Holladay. This study was completed in March 2022.
 
While these studies provided a fresh look at transportation options, the Local Link effort is also building on the foundation of previous studies and proposed plans, including the 2013 Sugar House Transit Study.
