Horrocks Engineers is Expanding in New Mexico

Since Horrocks Engineers’ Albuquerque office first opened in January 2016, the number of local staff members has increased every year. Despite unusual global circumstances, 2020 has been a period of growth for Horrocks Engineers. Our geographical reach and capacity to meet project needs has grown with the expansion of several Horrocks offices since the beginning of the year. To accommodate our growing staff and better provide services to our clients in New Mexico, we have relocated from 6100 Uptown Boulevard NE, Suite 105, to a larger office space at 6001 Indian School Road NE, Suite 250.

Serving New Mexico

Horrocks is an innovative, quality-driven, multidisciplinary engineering firm with more than 650 employees in 18 offices across the West, including our local office in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Regarding Horrocks’ growth in the region over the past four years, Principal-in-Charge Habib Abi-Khalil stated, “Horrocks has realized a lot of growth companywide, and New Mexico has been a part of this growth. We continue to add key hires to our team, and as we add staff, we are looking at expanding our client base and the services that we offer.”

The Horrocks team has worked closely with the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) and numerous municipalities throughout the state. Horrocks was recently awarded the I-25 Comanche and Montgomery Interchange Improvement Design-Build Project Management and Engineering Services project with NMDOT. Located along a busy section of I-25 in Albuquerque, the project involves the development of the design-build procurement package, performance specifications, preliminary engineering design services, procurement of the design-build team, and construction management of the final project.
