To celebrate this season of giving, Horrocks employees gathered last Saturday morning to prepare Sub for Santa gifts for local families in need. After a brief kickoff meeting, the volunteers divided into family groups and hit the stores for gift shopping.
Horrocks employees donated funds for the event, allowing the volunteers to sponsor 35 children from 11 local families. After much deliberation (what is popular with kids these days?) and with constant smiles, the gifts were purchased, organized, and celebrated. Tony Curtis, who organized the event through United Way of Utah commented, “It was inspiring to have so many employees participate in this service project. It was a great demonstration of our core values.” We want to express our gratitude to the many employees who donated their time, money, and talents to this project.
